OSIRUS®is due to release their latest CD entitled Awaken sometime late November '08. Awaken will feature eight songs. OSIRUS released their first CD "Robert & Family" on March 5, 2003. The CD features eight songs that display an array of styles that help to create an original sound all their own.

Here's what some are saying about OSIRUS:

"In an age when imploded party bands rely way too heavily on the same old moth-eaten Creed and Bush songs, it's refreshing to find a band playing shiny happy modern rock that keeps a bit of it's sweet prickly edge..."
- Mark Williams, The Bulletin

"Epic! Gloriously old-school with a new twist!"
- Don Sizensky, Spotted!! Music

Individual Bios from Left to Right

Ernest Garcia
Guitarist! After 14 years of playing guitar, Ernest can point to a solid track record. With his last band, Dreadknot, Ernest scored a top 50 single in the UK and Holland. He is also a previous winner of the Tonos Guitar/Songwriter award. Born in Havana, Cuba, his influences range from the music of his Cuban youth to Collective Soul, Gypsy Kings, Pink Floyd, NIN, and Nirvana. He hopes to be remembered one day as a modern-day guitarist with a progressive and influential style.

Alex Lucas
Bassist! Alex started playing music at a very young age but with a distinct focus on classical studies. He attended Houston's Performing and Visual Arts School where he was taught a great deal of music theory and received four years of multi-discipline classical instruction. But Alex's thirst for a better-fitting genre led him to his home in Rock music. One summer away from school and theory, he began playing Electric Bass. After working with several local projects in High School, Alex decided he needed to move out of the garage and onto a bigger stage. He auditioned for OSIRUS one night in early June of 2008 and was brought on full-time by the evening's end. Favorite Artists include Rancid, Finch, and Radiohead. Favorite Bassist is Matt Freeman of Rancid.

Kimberly Jason
Vocalist! Kim was born and raised in the valley and currently calls Houston home. Her thoughtful, angst-ridden music engages listeners instantly. She has a warm, inviting stage presence and a genuine quality her audience really connects with. This self-taught singer/songwriter has been performing on stage for the last five years. Inspired by her favorite bands and driven to express her deepest thoughts she has forged her own musical path through life.

John Matranga
Drummer! To quote John: "Music has always been one of my greatest friends, there in the good and not so good times. Music is like a miracle doctor that can cure you of all ills - within reason - instantaneously upon hearing it. It's an elixir I can't do without. I hope to get my music into as many people's heads as possible because I want them to have a chance to experience music positively reacting in them the way it positively reacts in me. Since the first instant I heard music I've never been bored because I know this companion, music, is always there to keep me company and is flowing through my veins." Subsequently, John sweats a lot on stage!
